Jesse Fischer

Hi, I’m Jesse Fischer, software developer & creative technologist based in Brooklyn. I’ve been making websites for 20+ years (hello, BBEdit!) For the past four years I’ve been at Work & Co (now part of Accenture Song), where clients have included Google, Intel, Steve Jobs Archive, Audacy, Gatorade, PGA Tour, and more. As a proven tech leader, I consistently deliver lasting value for clients, while fostering community, building trust, and leading with empathy.

I’ve found my niche in working closely with UX and motion designers to prototype and build stunning interactive experiences with seamless animation and transitions. Outside of work, I enjoy film photography, collecting vinyl records, playing jazz piano, gardening, and cooking brunch. I also volunteer at Marcy Lab School, a free college alternative for nontraditional students interested in a career in tech.

Here’s a selection of my professional work. Enjoy and be in touch!

Intel
Marketing splash page

For Intel’s latest site revamp, our designers created a special rotating 3D cube slideshow experience to showcase Intel’s newest AI-optimized products. While the rest of the site was built by Accenture developers, I was brought in as a pitch hitter to quickly prototype and build the complex scroll-linked 3D animations and transitions. I delivered vanilla JavaScript and leveraged CSS's built-in 3D transforms to allow the rest of the dev team to incorporate the splash page into the AEM site architecture. I also made sure the animations were accessible and would perform well on a variety of new and old devices and viewport sizes. With Work & Co (part of Accenture Song)
